Coast 2 Coast provide meal service for the three main meals of the day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as providing tea and coffee making facilities and snacks available any time. Lunch is available as a dine-in or take away option (generally workers will take a packed crib lunch with them when they get their breakfast).

Coast 2 Coast meals are generally a self-service buffet style, prepared with flair and with health in mind.

Breakfast

It's important to start the day with a healthy hearted buffet breakfast. One may eat as much or as little as ones likes with a "help yourself" approach at Coast 2 Coast. We will provide a "Traditional Fully Cooked" Breakfast including, but not limited to

  • Grilled Ham Gammon steaks
  • Grilled Steakettes
  • Grilled Sausages - pork, beef, bbq, chipolata, cheese kransky, curried, battered

  • Grilled Tuna Cakes
  • Fish Fingers/Goujons
  • Hash Browns

Lunch

This service is made available during the hours of Breakfast Service and midday and is also Self Service. Or if arranged it may be served between the hours of 12.00-12.30 daily. A freshly prepared Daily Buffet is presented with flare and consideration to the health conscience and the great tasting food lovers consisting of a selection of the following items:

  • Fresh Poultry - roasted, grilled, breaded, marinated chicken, drumsticks, wings, or spatchcock
  • Roasted Meats - Beef, pork, lamb, mutton
  • Marinated Meats - Corned Silverside, Pickled Pork, Pickled Hoggard
  • Processed Meats - Leg Ham, Virginia ham, Soccer Ball Ham, 4x4 Sandwich Ham
  • Salami - Italian, Spanish Chorizos, Pepperoni, Danish, Hungarian and others

Dinner

Coast 2 Coast provides a cooked buffet-style dinner every night of the week, covering a variety of foods and styles to keep it interesting. Dinner is provided with a "help yourself" approach so you are free to take as much or as little as you like. Dinner includes a soup of the day, a main "dry dish", a main "wet dish", a healthy alternative "third course", and dessert.

Coast 2 Coast Dinner Menu is headed by what we define as a Dry-Dish, which is a Grill, Roast Baked or a Deep Fried Dish; this meal is the No 1 "Main Stay" of the day.

Main course #2 is a wet dish consisting of a Casserole, Stew, Braise, Goulash, Chow-Mien, Pasta Sauce etc. Ingredients may be Veal, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb, Burger or Pie etc

The Third Main Course is usually a health conscious alternate based on Pasta, Rice or Gourmet Vegetable, Flan or Quiche, Low in salt and fat free, a valuable addition to a balanced menu.

All main dishes are served with a potato dish, a fresh vegetable dish, a frozen vegetable dish, sauces (e.g. gravy or tartare), fresh bread, and desserts prepared daily for each service.

Standardised Recipes

Coast 2 Coast Camp Services have catalogued and issued over 750 standardised recipes to our chefs. C2C menu items are balanced with the healthy choice at heart - they are low in salt and fat. Coast 2 Coasts dishes used on our exclusive menus are from our own Remote Site Catering Manual which details:

  • Method of cooking
  • Cooking times
  • Cooking temperatures
  • Photographs
  • Conversion Chart
  • Cooking instructions
  • Cooking and basic Safety
  • Chef's all-good work practices

Coast 2 Coast cycle menus are devised to entertain most individual tastes and palettes eliminating contentious dishes. "Our aim is to please" If by chance there is a change required to the menu and that of a contentious dish we are only to happy to make the necessary adjustments. Our Catering Management team leader quoting food and food methodology says "it's not what you do but the way that you do it, do it once and do it right, simplicity is the way to go".
