Our experienced staff are in touch with the daily requirements of running a remote camp site, and take pride in doing a great job from the main meal services a day to the daily cleaning and running of the camp. Nothing is too much or too difficult.

Coast 2 Coast employees are provided with PPE appropriate to their jobs, and adhere to Coast 2 Coast's safety policies as well as their clients'. Employees observe a high level of hygiene and do not work under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

All Coast 2 Coast employees are trained and briefed regularly in the correct use of chemicals used in the camp and village operations, as well as reviewing the MSDS for all chemicals used in Coast 2 Coast's services. Employees are fully aware of their duty of care and their relationship and responsibility towards the correct use of chemicals.

The Coast 2 Coast JHA includes details of over 40 work related duties detailing a description of the job, hazards, and work instructions. Coast 2 Coast always have First Aid kits on site as well.

Phil First started out in the industry as a qualified chef in Italian and French cuisine, initially trained in the late 70's and early 80's under master chefs Signor Franco Ferrero of Milan for 2 years and continuing with Madam Teresa and Claude Gillier of Paris with French cuisine up until 1983 at the original "Olive Tree Restaurant" located at Outram St, West Perth.

Phil undertook Technical Training from 1979 to 1983 and a full term apprenticeship. Studies were conducted at Carine Technical College (Tafe) under the guidance of Executive chefs Mr. Franco Ferrero, Mr. Günter Mayer, Mr. Wally Sheldon and Mr. Phil Bolden.

Phil has undertaken further studies in Asian cooking at the South East Metropolitan College of TAFE with Certificates 111 in Hospitality, Asian and Chinese cooking, 2001.
